The Second open air statue in UK was at Ambedkar House 10 King Henry’s Road London NW3. The installation was managed by Shekhar Bodhakar, a London based Ambedkarite on the occasion of 127th Dr. Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April. The erecting of this statue was the least published event due to a planned inauguration, five days after installation being cancelled. The statue was due to be inaugurated by Mr. Modi but was cancelled at the last minute due to a small group of Ambedkarite protesters outside Ambedkar House.
